Bellwether: The Seattle Journal of Environmental Law & Policy

Bellwether is a proposed environmental law journal currently seeking administrative approval. Bellwether is the next generation of law journals combining the traditional print publication with newer, timelier online content. By focusing on how environmental law intersects with other disciplines, Bellwether's scholarship focuses on the importance of environmental protections in business, international transactions, and land use.

Mission

Bellwether's Mission is to create an environmental law journal that combines a traditional law journal structure with an innovative approach to online content resulting in top-rate environmental scholarship focusing on the interdisciplinary nature of environmental law and policy.

Join Us

Bellwether is accepting applications for the 2009-10 academic school year. The application has shared portions with the Seattle Journal for Social Justice, making the application process easier for 1Ls who want to apply for multiple journals. The applications can be picked up outside of the publications office, and are due on June 5, 2009. There will be a labeled box outside of the publications office for application submissions.

Although Bellwether has not received official credit, students are encouraged to apply for independent study credit with full-time faculty. More information »
