Brian Bodine

Biography
Brian G. Bodine is a partner with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP where he focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation. Brian is a registered patent attorney who has over thirteen years of litigation experience, including experience litigating mechanical, electrical, biotechnology, chemical, and computer software patents. He has practiced before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and numerous United States District Courts. He has served as a court-appointed expert to consider both patent claim interpretation and motions for summary judgment concerning patent infringement and validity. Before entering private practice, Brian served as a law clerk in both federal and state courts. In addition to his private practice, Brian is an adjunct Professor of Law at Seattle University School of Law, where he teaches Patent and Trade Secret Law. He is Immediate-Past President of the Washington State Patent Law Association. Brian was recently named as a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law & Politics magazine. Brian has in depth knowledge in the following areas: Patent infringement litigation; Trademark infringement litigation; Trade secret litigation; and Complex intellectual property litigation.
