Craig Sims

Biography

Craig Sims became an attorney with Fury Bailey in 2008. Craig joined Fury Bailey after a distinguished ten-year career as a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the King County Prosecutor's Office. During his time with the King County Prosecutor's Office, Craig represented the citizens of the State of Washington in over 100 trials. His career as a prosecutor also included a multi-year assignment to the Most Dangerous Offender Program (MDOP). While a member of the MDOP Program, Craig prosecuted several homicide and other high profile cases. One of his most notable prosecutions was State v. William Joice (Defendant was a civil defense attorney who was convicted of the attempted murder of opposing counsel). Craig's past experience has proved that he has a genuine passion for helping those who have been harmed by others.

Craig is an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law teaching Comprehensive Pretrial Advocacy. He is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Washington Law School instructing a section of Trial Advocacy.

Craig is a member of several organizations to include the Loren Miller Bar Association (President 2007-2009). He is also a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Washington State Trial Lawyers Association as well as the King County Bar Association. He has a license to practice law in Washington and the United States Federal Court, Western District of Washington. In his spare time Craig enjoys spending time with his family, biking and skydiving.
