
Ed Belsheim, Jr.

Biography
Ed Belsheim is of counsel to the Seattle office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he practices corporate and securities law, with a focus on public companies.
Ed has advised on equity and debt offerings for issuers, underwriters, and venture capital firms. He has provided legal counsel regarding corporate governance, disclosure, SEC compliance, and proxy matters, and has worked on recapitalizations and spin-offs. In addition, Ed has closed more than 120 M&A transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Ed was president and chief operating officer of InfoSpace and a member of the company's board of directors. He also served as its chief administrative officer and general counsel.
Earlier in his career, Ed was a partner at Perkins Coie and at Bogle & Gates, where he was chairman of the business department and a member of the executive committee. He also served as general counsel at Penwest Pharmaceuticals and Penford. Ed began his career as an associate at Dewey Ballantine in New York.
