Ralph Hawkins

Biography

Mr. Hawkins is a senior partner with the Seattle firm of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, where his practice emphasizes employee benefits and executive compensation. He joined the firm in 1964. He is a frequent speaker and has spoken before the Western Pension & Benefits Conference, Washington State Bar Association, Washington State Society of CPAs, Seattle Pension Roundtable, and the Employee Benefits Planning Council. In addition, he has authored several articles published in journals such as The Journal of Taxation, The Journal of Pension Planning and Compliance and The Practical Accountant. He is Past President and Board Member of the Seattle Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference, and Past Chair of the Joint Council of Presidents of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference. He has also been included in The Best Lawyers in America in Employee Benefits Law since 1995, and as one of the Super Lawyers for 2001, 2002 and 2004 in Washington Law & Politics.
