
Roger Dworkin

Biography
Professor Dworkin is the Robert A. Lucas Professor Emeritus of Law at the Indiana University School of Law Bloomington. He is a nationally recognized expert on the responses of the legal system to medical and biological technology, and has authored three books and dozens of articles. Professor Dworkin was a winner of the Wallace Teaching Award at Indiana, where students for decades named him among the finest teachers in their lifetime. In his more than 25 years of teaching, Professor Dworkin has taught many courses including Torts, Advanced Torts, Law and Medicine, and Law and Biomedical Advance. He was in private practice in San Diego from 1967-68, and was Professor of Biomedical History at the University of Washington School of Medicine from 1980-82.
