Research Guides

Select Research Guides to locate subject specific guides written by Reference Librarians at the Seattle University School of Law Library. These guides suggest relevant resources in the area of law and can be valuable starting points for research projects.

Subscription Databases

The Law Library subscribes to many electronic databases for our students, faculty, staff and library walk-in patrons. Databases can be sorted by title or by subject. Access information is also included.

Non-Legal Resources

Lemieux Library subscribes to electronic databases in various non-legal subject areas. These databases are available to all Seattle University students, faculty and staff.

External Links

These are selected links to federal, state and international resources. Most of the information on these sites are available to the public for free. There are also links to comprehensive sites, portals, legal directories and organizations.

Online Journals

The Online Journals page will help you locate legally related journals that are available online from sources such as Westlaw, Lexis, BNA, and Hein.

Media Law

Links to a collection of video recordings of various events, classes, and lectures at the Seattle University School of Law.

Featured Database

International Law in Domestic Courts

Contains domestic cases in international law from other countries. Features expert commentary, full texts of judgments in their original language and translations of key passages of non-English judgments into English. Available to Seattle University Law faculty, staff, students and walk-in patrons. Not available on the wireless network.
