Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
The Madrid Program is a biennial, two-week, three-credit summer study abroad program sponsored by Seattle University School of Law and Universidad Carlos III Madrid. The program will take place at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Puerta de Toledo. The program offers an opportunity to study in another country, interact with students from Spain, and learn from EU guest speakers, and explore legal environments in Madrid.
The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid was founded in 1989 to provide an efficient, high quality public undergraduate and graduate education. The philosophy that has guided the university since its origins is to create responsible free-thinking people who are sensitive to social problems and willing to engage in progress based on freedom, justice and tolerance. Thus, the themes articulated in the university's goals are very much aligned with Seattle University Law School's social justice mission.
