Upcoming Events, Meetings and Programs in 2015

CPD - Mock Interview Program
10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

RSVP

Practicing attorneys in a variety of fields will be on campus to do mock interviews and provide individual feedback. This is a great opportunity to network and practice your interview skills with attorneys in a non-competitive, no-stress atmosphere. Students will be paired with an alumni practitioner for a practice interview. Students will prepare for it as if he/she were interviewing for a real position with the practitioner's firm, organization, or governmental agency. The interview will last 20 minutes and will be followed by 10 minutes of feedback.

Join the Law Review at Seattle University School of Law for their annual symposium. The keynote speaker is Emily Broad Leib, director of the Food Law and Policy Clinic at Harvard Law School. Distiniguished panel moderators include David Skover, the Fredric Tausend Professor of Law, Madeline Kass, visiting associate professor and editor of the ABA's Natural Resources & Environment Magazine, and Cliff Villa, adjunct professor and assistant regional counsel at the EPA. A small discount is available for Law Review Alumni.

The law school's Spring OCI program, which runs March 9 - 13, features small and mid-size firms that are interested in considering SU Law students for spring or summer law clerk positions or post-graduate opportunities; this program replaces our Small Firm Fair. Firms are invited to attend the networking reception regardless of their participation in OCI. Contact the Center for Professional Development with any questions.
