Black Law Student Association Alumni Awards Reception

5:00 p.m.  -  7:30 p.m.
Location: Second Floor Gallery, Sullivan Hall

Hosted by the Black Law Student Association (BLSA) at SU School of Law, and in partnership with the Office of Alumni Relations, this annual evening celebration honors members of the alumni and legal communities who so generously contribute to students, BLSA and the practice of law.

Please plan to join us for a wonderful celebration of the many contributions of The Honorable Robert Russell, II '75 who currently serves as a member of the Colorado Eighteenth Judicial District Court. Judge Russell began his legal career in the Arapahoe County District Attorney's office. He also had a private practice before he was appointed an Arapahoe County Magistrate in October 1985. In June 1989, he joined the Arapahoe County Court and was ultimately promoted to the 18th District Court in 1998. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Judge Russell retired in August 1984 as a Lieutenant Colonel.

We are delighted that Judge Russell and his wife, Catharyn Baird '74, are able to join the law school community in celebration. They are both looking forward to reconnecting with former faculty and classmates, especially members of the 1974 and 1975 graduating classes.

RSVP to rsvplawalumni@seattleu.edu by Monday, February 20, 2012, or call the Office of Alumni Relations at (206) 398-4600.
