Some of us come to law school with a clear idea of what we want to do when we graduate. Many of us are excited about the opportunity to explore our options. If you aren’t sure in what area you want to practice (and even if you are!), it’s wise to educate yourself on both the environments in which you can practice, and the substantive areas of law in which you can serve the public interest. Particularly in public interest, the needs of clients and the ramifications of legal work provided are ever-growing and changing. The ability to recognize and serve the global needs of your clients will allow you to grow in this profession and best serve clients through leadership in the bar and community.
