Northwest Indian Bar Association honors Douglas Nash
On March 11, 2010, Douglas Nash, Director of the Center for Indian Law & Policy was awarded the Northwest Indian Bar Association's President's Award at the organizations annual dinner. The President's Award is given annually to an outstanding Tribal Attorney, Tribal Legal Professional, Tribal Educator, or Tribal Leader.
The President's Award is awarded to a recipient who has made a significant contribution to the legal issues facing Northwest Tribes, Tribal organizations, and Tribal members. The Northwest Indian Bar Association recognized Douglas Nash for his nearly 3 decades of dedication to the legal issues facing the Northwest Tribes.
