Academy annual trainings are conducted at the Seattle University School of Law because of its outstanding professional and physical facilities. Annual trainings are usually three days (Wednesday through Friday) during the third week in June. Substantial efforts are made to tailor each year’s training to the perceived needs of the registrants. For this reason, while a preliminary program is posted by the December preceding the training, the program is continually revised and updated to reflect both the expressed desires of the registrants and current legal developments. Moreover, to assure the highest quality training and enable communication among the registrants, participation is capped at 100 persons on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration fees for the annual training include one full set of training materials (hard copy and CDROM), one evening reception, two lunches, and morning and afternoon refreshment breaks. Hotel accommodations convenient to the School of Law are available at a special conference rate. Reduced fees are usually available for early registrants and for multiple registrants from one state.
