Christine Olson

Biography

Professor Olson serves as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Seattle, where she focuses on civil rights litigation.  Prior to that, she worked on white-collar criminal matters and complex commercial litigation at DLA Piper in Seattle and Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York.  Professor Olson clerked for the Honorable James V. Selna in the United States District Court for the Central District of California and taught English at the Royal Palace of Madrid.  In law school, she was Managing Editor of the UC Davis Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif.  She is admitted to practice law in Washington, Oregon, California and New York.  She is the author of three published articles and was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2013.  She has lived in France, Austria, Italy, and Spain, and speaks French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
