An associate attorney at the Seattle firm Gibbs Houston Pauw, Devin Theriot-Orr practices exclusively immigration law, focusing on complex removal defense litigation. Prior to joining Gibbs Houston Pauw, Devin spent two years living and working in South Asia where, as the Director of the Rule of Law Project in Lahore, Pakistan, he supervised lawyers and law students collecting witness statements regarding the state repression following the coup d'etat in November 2007. Raised in Louisville, Kentucky, he received his B.A. in Physics from Oberlin College in 1997. He moved to Seattle in 1998 and graduated with high honors from the University of Washington School of Law in 2003, where he was a student in the immigration clinic. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, the Washington State Supreme Court, the Western and Eastern districts of Washington, and numerous federal Courts of Appeal.
