Jerry Chiang

Biography

Jerry is general counsel at Experience Hendrix, L.L.C., the family-owned company that controls and manages Jimi Hendrix's music catalog and related intellectual property rights. In his role as general counsel, Jerry advises the company on many issues prevalent in the entertainment industry including contract drafting, negotiations, licensing, copyright infringement, brand protection, and personality rights. Prior to representing the interests and legacy of the greatest guitarist of all time, Jerry practiced corporate law in the Seattle office of Stoel Rives, LLP.

Outside his practice, Jerry serves on the board of directors of the Vera Project, the Korean American Bar Association of Washington, and the Asian Bar Association of Washington. He is also an avid concert-goer and traveler.
