Biography

A shareholder with the Seattle firm, Graham & Dunn PC, Professor Mitchell represents public and private entities on a range of state, local and municipal issues, and on real estate, land use, and construction issues. He served as General Counsel to Governor Christine Gregoire, where he provided advice to Washington's Chief Executive Officer and her staff on a wide range of issues. He has handled mediations and arbitrations, and all phases of dispute resolution from mediations to litigation. He represents both public entities and private companies as their outside General Counsel. He has degrees in law, urban planning, and architecture.
