Professor Cumbow is past chair of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Washington State Bar Association, current Board Member of the Intellectual Property Section, of the Washington State Bar Association, and Board member and past president of Washington Lawyers for the Arts. Professor Cumbow is also a shareholder and chair of the Intellectual Property Practice with the Seattle firm of Graham & Dunn PC. His practice focuses on intellectual property and Internet legal issues for technology, advertising, arts and entertainment, and general commercial clients. He has written widely on law, art, film, and lifestyle topics, and has taught at Seattle University, the University of Washington, and Seattle Central Community College.
