Biography

Professor Sargent is the 2007-2008 President of the Wm. Dwyer's Inns of Court and a former Prosecuting Attorney, where her work focused on felony Domestic Violence. Between 1994 - 1995, she served as Judicial Clerk to Washington State Supreme Court Justice Gary Alexander, and also served as a Judicial Intern to Washington State Supreme Court Justice Charles Johnson between 1993 - 1994. She was a solo practitioner before being joined by her cousin and fellow law school graduate Antoinette M. Davis. Professor Sargent's practice at The Law Offices of Vonda M. Sargent focuses on Plaintiff’s personal injury, employment discrimination and criminal defense. She is a frequent presenter at CLE’s for WSTLA and WSBA focusing on trial preparation. She most recently traveled to Prague, CZ to present on FRE 30(b)(6), as well as to Florida where she helped the successful defense team on the nationally televised case of State of Florida v. Dickens et. al.
