Jeff Ellis is a partner in the law firm of Ellis, Holmes & Witchley, in Seattle. His practice focuses on the defense of criminal cases at trial, on appeal, and in post-conviction, in both state and federal court. Mr. Ellis previously worked for fifteen years at The Defender Association in Seattle, and for a year with Rountree & Owen in Austin, Texas, where he also served as an adjunct at the University of Texas (Austin) Law School, co-teaching a capital punishment seminar and clinic. Mr. Ellis lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.
