Jeffrey Grant

Teaches Comprehensive Pretrial Advocacy

Professor Grant is a trial lawyer with the law firm of Aoki Sakamoto Grant LLP and has more than two decades of experience in civil and criminal litigation. He has represented people and businesses in a variety of matters--both as plaintiffs and defendants--in Washington and elsewhere, in state and federal courts, at trial and on appeal.

Professor Grant is a member of Seattle University's Board of Regents, the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and the William Dwyer Inn of Court. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member of the University of Washington and Seattle University Schools of Law, participates as an instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, has been repeatedly selected as a Washington “Super Lawyer,” and has received Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating ("AV"). Professor Grant has also written law review articles for scholarly and professional publications, been involved in a variety of community service projects and events, and coached years of youth sports.
