Professor Miller is a member in the Seattle office of Foster Pepper & Shefelman PLLC, where he also serves as a member of the firm's Professional Recruiting Committee. He has substantial experience in a variety of complex litigation matters with a specialization in Sports Law, including serving as outside counsel for the Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers. He is an active member of the Sports Lawyers Association and ABA Committee on Sports & Entertainment Law. Professor Miller spoke at the 2002 Seattle University Law School's Choices Forum on Breaking Into the Sports Industry and has given several CLE presentations on hiring and mentoring issues. He also frequently judges Moot Court, Client Counseling and Negotiation competitions at the University of Washington Law School. He is licensed to practice in Washington and Alabama. Professor Miller was recently involved with the 2003 Choices Forum, and served as moderator for the Sports and Entertainment presentation. In addition, he was named as a "Rising Star" from 2001 to 2004 in Washington Law & Politics. Mr. Miller also teaches sports law at University of Washington Law School.
