Teaches: Basic Real Estate

Thomas Parkes graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1990 with a BS in Economics. He is also a 1997 cum laude graduate of Seattle University School of Law. Mr. Parkes served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy before interning for Gordon Thomas Honeywell Malanca Peterson & Daheim and Central Puget Sound Growth Management Hearings Board. In 1997 he became an Associate for Gordon Thomas Honeywell Malanca Peterson & Daheim, and in 2003 he worked as an Associate for Foster Pepper & Shefelman PLLC. Currently, Thomas is a Member at Foster Pepper & Shefelman PLLC. Thomas J. Parkes specializes in real estate and real estate finance practice, with an emphasis on commercial and residential development and finance, primarily representing commercial and residential developers and development interests. Mr. Parkes has familiarity with a broad range of real estate and land use matters, including development, acquisitions, sales, leasing, and entity structuring. Mr. Parkes also represents developers of commercial, residential, and mixed use condominium projects. Mr. Parkes land use experience includes counseling developers and property owners on land use and zoning matters, including representation before various administrative entities and in Washington State courts.
