Seattle University was originally a part of Seattle’s Nihonmachi (JapanTown), holding a long standing relationship with the Japanese American community dating back to before WWII. The campus continues to see many generations of Japanese and Japanese American students become SU alumni. Come celebrate community by returning to this historical location and join us in honoring the Kip Tokuda Family and the Boeing Company who promote Japanese and Japanese American culture and heritage while strengthening cultural ties between the U.S. and Japan.
