Judge Yu Conducts Trial at Seattle University School of Law
Only one other time in Washington State judicial history has a Superior Court trial been held outside of a county courtroom. The first time was February 11, 2002, also in the Sullivan Hall courtroom. We are extremely pleased to have hosted such an event.
The case, Nelson v. Lozier Homes, took place from Tuesday, November 5th and extended through Thursday, November 7th in our courtroom. The final day of trial was held at the King County Courthouse. The School of Law taped all of the trial. This bench trial involved a real property dispute including issues of adverse possession, easements, and trespass. You can download the pleadings below in PDF format, and the holdings are now available as well.
- Plaintiff: Motion for Summary Judgment
