“In every arena … there is a need for new leaders—
enlightened, inspired, effective leaders.”
Stephen V. Sundborg, S.J. President of Seattle University,
Seattle Times, August 10, 2003.
At a time when the legal system is redefining itself to find ways to be more responsive to both client and lawyer needs, lawyer leadership is needed.
Stephen Sundborg, President of Seattle University and Ron Ward, President of the Washington State Bar Association and Kellye Testy, Dean of Seattle University Law School will share personal reflections and insights on leadership challenges and benefits.
This seminar will focus on how lawyers can make more effective and conscious use of their leadership potential and natural skills in conflict resolution.
Together we will explore ways to meet the challenges of redefining the goals of the legal profession, changing our relationships to the practice of law, and the role of the legal profession in society.
