Student wins national scholarship
(December 14, 2010) Priya Aggarwal, a 3L at Seattle University School of Law, was one of two students in the country to receive a UPS/NLF Gold Mountain Scholarship from the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Law Foundation. The $2,500 scholarships go to law students who are the first in their family to attend law school and who are dedicated to the Asian Pacific American Community.
NLF gives thousands of dollars in scholarships every year to law students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to civil rights and equality in their communities. NLF's scholarship programs are critical to helping promote the careers of promising young lawyers throughout the country, and through them, legal education is made more affordable for deserving students.
