Faculty-staff giving campaign sets record

In addition to support from law school alumni and friends, the law school's Annual Fund for Excellence calls upon internal members of our community for support.  Thanks to the hard work of co-chairs Professor W. H. "Joe" Knight and Mary Jane Brogan, a paralegal in the Ronald A. Peterson Law Clinic,  the 2010-2011 Faculty and Staff Annual Fund Campaign was the most successful in law school history with over 56% participation.  This personal commitment of resources further demonstrates the investment each member of the law school's faculty and staff have in our students' success.

Another highlight of the fund-raising year was the SU Law at Work program, which provides Seattle University School of Law alumni at law firms and organizations the opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater while promoting a healthy and fun competition designed to encourage participation in the Annual Fund for Excellence. Of the eight groups participating in 2010-2011, the alumni at Foster Pepper had the greatest overall participation. Congratulations and thank you to all those who supported our students and faculty through participation in the initiative.

Detailed numbers on the 2010-11 Annual Fund will be published later.
