Annette Clark returns to Seattle University School of Law

Former Interim Dean and Vice Dean Annette Clark will rejoin the tenured faculty at Seattle University School of Law on September 1.

Clark most recently served Seattle U Law as interim dean during the 2009-10 academic year. Prior to that, she held key leadership positions, including associate dean for academic affairs.  She is a 1989 graduate of Seattle University School of Law and joined the faculty that year. She also holds an M.D. and is an expert in bioethics and medical liability.

"Annette is one of our most illustrious alums and a highly accomplished professor and administrator," Dean Mark C. Niles said. "I couldn't be happier that she is coming back, and we will all be enriched by her return."

Clark resigned her position as dean of Saint Louis University School of Law earlier this month.

"I am so pleased to be returning to Seattle University School of Law, which was not only my academic home for 22 years but is also my alma mater," she said.
