Law school honors veterans at reception Nov. 15

(Oct. 25, 2012) The School of Law will recognize those in our community who have served our country at this special Veterans Day Reception. Paula Boggs, an experienced lawyer, social justice advocate and Army veteran, will be the keynote speaker.

The law school is proud of the veterans and active duty military in our student body and alumni and thank them for their service and sacrifice. The law school remains committed to supporting our student veterans and service men and women and takes part in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which provides funding to assist veterans returning to school. We offer Community Service Stipends to entering students with military service, along with students who have served in Americorps, City Year, Peace Corps, VISTA, Teach for America or Jesuit Volunteer Corps.

If you are a veteran or active duty military, please email lawalumni@seattleu.edu and update the Office of Alumni Relations with your veteran or military status.
