State Supreme Court candidate forum Aug. 1

Seattle University School of Law will host a forum to educate voters about the candidates for the Washington Supreme Court at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, in room C5 of Sullivan Hall.

All candidates in the three contested races have been invited. Confirmed participants are: Susan Owens and  Scott Stafne, Position 2; Steve Gonzalez, Position 8; and Bruce Hilyer, Sheryl Gordon McCloud, and Richard Sanders, Position 9. Dean Mark C. Niles will moderate.

The winner of positions 8 will be decided in the Aug. 7 primary.
