Law school offers alumni spots at ATJ conference

The School of Law and the Access to Justice Institute will pay the registration fee for a limited number of alumni to attend the 16th Annual Washington Access to Justice/Bar Leaders Conference in Kennewick June 3-5. The deadline for applications is Thursday, May 12.

Those interested should email a statement of interest describing:

  • Why you are interested in attending the conference
  • Your demonstrated commitment to the law school community and social justice
  • Whether current financial limitations would prevent you from attending.

This year's theme is "Eliminating Bias in the Justice Systems: A Call to Action and Service." The conference includes members of the Washington equal justice community including legal services advocates, judges, private pro bono counsel, bar association leaders and law students who are dedicated to providing equal access to the legal system for low- and moderate-income people.
