Law school celebrates Red Mass Oct 6

(September 20, 2011) Seattle University School of Law will celebrate Red Mass 2011 on Thursday, Oct. 6, in the Chapel of St. Ignatius at 5:30 p.m. A reception honoring Supreme Court Justice Mary Fairhurst will follow at Sullivan Hall.

The annual tradition hosted by the university in conjunction with the Archdiocese of Seattle honors the contributions of the bench and bar. SU President Stephen Sundborg, S.J., and Dean Mark Niles will welcome members of the judiciary and the bar, legislators, law students and other members of the legal and legislative communities.

The community is also invited to contribute to the Justice Mary E. Fairhurst Public Interest Law Foundation Grant. PILF grants work to broaden opportunities and experiences for Seattle University School of Law students who aim to pursue public interest legal careers. Make a gift.
