Computer Requirements

Should you already own a relatively new laptop or choose not to purchase a Dell through the student program, your portable computer must meet the following minimum specifications.

    (with WPA2-Interprise security authentication capability)
  • Windows 7 Professional SP1
  • Microsoft Office 2010 Professional
  • Antivirus Protection
  • Security lockdown cable
  • External Back Up device

 

Macintosh Apple Computer (MAC) compatibility:

  • MAC users can use MAC laptops to take tests in ExamSoft (Snow Leopard, Lion or Mountain Lion is required).  See Mac System Requirements at Examsoft website for more details.
  • MAC Users can also print to designated network printers at the Law School.

It is recommended that you purchase your laptop through our Laptop Purchase Program. For financial assistance in purchasing your laptop, look into our financial aid options for incoming students. Also, Please make sure your computer is compatible to connect to the network.
