Earthquake aftermath
Although the library sustained no structural damage as a result of the
March 1st earthquake, much of our collection was relocated to the floor,
or in several cases, to shelves 5-6 feet away. Within minutes of being
allowed back into the building, library staff, joined by many students
and other law school staff, began returning thousands of books back to
the shelving units. It will take an estimated 2-3 weeks to rearrange the
collection in its correct call number sequence.
