Leave of Absence, Withdrawal & Transfer

Leave of Absence

Students requiring a Leave of Absence should consult with the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. In granting any leave of absence, the Associate Dean for Student Affairs shall carefully inquire into the reasons stated to determine whether the student will be granted a leave. A Petition for Leave of Absence Withdrawal form should be completed and returned to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs.

Withdrawal & Transfer

A student who feels s/he will not be returning to law studies at Seattle University School of Law may withdraw from school at any time. Prior to withdrawal/transfer, the student shall consult with the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. A Petition for Leave of Absence Withdrawal form should be completed and returned to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs.
