J. Reuben Clark Law Society

The J. Reuben Clark Law Society is an international law society comprised of attorneys, law school graduates, and law school students who support the Society's mission statement of religious conviction, public service, and professional excellence in the preparation for, and the practice of, the law. Members of the Law Society also subscribe to a central axiom that the rule of law serves to promote fairness and virtue in society.

Seattle University's J. Reuben Clark Law Society chapter seeks to help law students recognize the strength that is brought to the law by their personal religious convictions. In addition, our chapter actively promotes the Society's mission statement to affirm the strength brought to the law by a lawyer's personal religious conviction and to strive through public service and professional excellence to promote fairness and virtue founded upon the rule of law. We invite all law students of the LDS faith, and of other faiths, who support our mission statement to become members.
