Classrooms Technology
All classrooms in Sullivan Hall come with standardized technology enabled
smart podium system. Therefore, users only need to learn how to interact with
our classroom once. Printable
instructions on using this system are available.
What to expect in every classroom:
- Telephone for calling for help (ringer is turned off)
- White boards (Faculty must provide their own pens)
- Wireless network and wired Ethernet cable on every podium*
- Power jacks for laptops
- Fixed podium microphone and wireless clip on microphone (Except in C7, 327,
328, 329, and the Clinic conference room)
- Smart-podiums with touchscreen controls
- Document readers with under bed lights for transparencies
- VCR players for American NTSC formatted VCR tapes
- Audio CD/cassette players
- Voice-Lift system in largest classrooms for student questions.
*Keys are available to the wireless microphone lock box in each room.
What you will not find:
- No DVD players; you will need a laptop for DVD playback
- No fixed computers; you will need to bring your own laptop
- No Apple VGA adapters; MAC users will need to bring their own
