This month's Instructional Technology e-newsletter offers a range
of informational links on current technology trends and research
in education. It also contains contact information for resources
available inside the SU School of Law.
This is the final installment of the Instructional Technology
newsletter for the summer, we will resume the newsletter in the
Autumn.
Highlights
News and Information
- Perpetual
Copyright Wiki – Many
people called upon Lawrence Lessig to respond to the op-ed in
the New York Times "A
Great Idea Lives Forever. Shouldn’t Its Copyright?".
Instead, Lessig set up a wiki and urged people to contribute
to a collective response. If nothing else, it is an interesting
way to urge the public to participate in a debate with wide-ranging
implications. You can read (and edit) the ongoing response,
here.
- TWEN Update
– TWEN is getting a new
look in July. You can see a sneak peek of the new design
and a quick tutorial here.
Innovation and Research
- Cali
Wiki – Not going to the
Conference for Law School Computing? Follow along with the sessions
that interest you with the CALI Wiki. The Wiki offers a place
for presenters and audience members (present and distance) to
contribute to the knowledge around the various conference presentations.
You can see it here.
