This Seattle University School of Law CLE course will examine the ethics issues that are often encounteredby attorney's who work on business transactions and litigated matters involving Indian tribes. The course will also explore the role of the federal Sarbanes-Oxley Act in Indian country, and the application of criminal law when Indian tribes and tribal officials are engaged in commercial activities on and off the tribe's reservation.
