Transcripts

The Office of the Registrar offers four easy, convenient ways to order your transcripts, letter of good standing, letter of class rank, enrollment verification and LSDAS report (first page only). Typically, we ask for two full working days to process all requests. Official and unofficial transcripts are free to all currently enrolled students, $5.00 for all alumni. Please send cash or check only.

  1. Fill out a Document Request Form. Document requests forms are located at the Office of the Registrar on the second floor of the Law School.
  2. Download a Transcript Request form. Document requests can be faxed to (206) 398.4058 or mailed to the address noted below. We will accept payment following a faxed request.
  3. Send a written, signed request to:
    Seattle University School of Law
    Office of the Registrar
    901 12th Avenue - Sullivan Hall
    Seattle, WA 98122-1090
  4. An e-mail request of transcripts will also be accepted as long as the request is made via the student's Seattle University e-mail address. For your safety and protection, we will not accept a transcript request from any other e-mail address other than the official Seattle University account. Please send all requests to lawreg@seattleu.edu.

Keep in mind that the more complete the information you submit to us, the faster we can locate your record. Therefore, please include the following information in your written request:

  • Student ID# (or Social Security Number)
  • Full Name
  • Former name(s)
  • Date of Birth
  • Graduation Year
  • Address/mailing instructions
  • Contact information
  • Your signature

The Office of the Registrar will be unable to provide unofficial copies of transcripts from your undergraduate or graduate institution (associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s transcripts), including undergraduate or graduate work at Seattle University; the main campus registrar can assist you with transcripts from non-law related degrees you earned at Seattle University.

The Business Office, Law Library or University Student Financial Services Office may place a hold on a student's transcript if they have an outstanding debt. Transcripts will not be released until the hold is lifted by the office that placed it. Transcripts will also be held if a student's final undergraduate transcript has not yet been received.
