Biography

Paula Enguídanos is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Lawyering Skills for the 2019-20 school year. Upon graduation from Seattle University School of Law in 2003, Professor Enguidanos clerked for the Honorable Mary Kay Becker (retired) at Division I of the Washington State Court of Appeals. Following her clerkship, Professor Enguídanos went directly into private practice, forming a small firm with three of her law school classmates. In her private practice, Professor Enguídanos focused mainly on the area of asylum law and has been representing asylum clients before the Seattle Immigration Court and the San Francisco Asylum Office for over a decade. In addition to her current teaching duties, Professor Enguídanos still maintains a solo practice, continuing her focus on immigration law and the issues that face the newest members of our community.

In her downtime, you can find Paula attending her children's sports and theater events, exploring new restaurants with her husband of 24 years, and relaxing in her backyard with a good science fiction book.
