Biography

Mariah Kennedy is an attorney with over nine years of experience, including over five years at Puget Sound Energy where she was manager of Federal and Regional Policy and Cost of Service. In these roles, Ms. Kennedy managed teams and substantive analysis related to federal and regional policy developments, as well as compliance and regulatory objectives on issues spanning the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, Bonneville Power Administration, California Independent System Operator and California Air Resources Board. Ms. Kennedy has also worked on regulatory and compliance issues related to utility merchant operations and trading. Prior to Puget, Ms. Kennedy was an attorney with K&L Gates, LLP, in Seattle, Washington, working primarily in corporate, private equity and energy. She has her Juris Doctorate from University of Oregon School of Law, is a member of the Washington State Bar, and has a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Willamette University.
