Biography

Brad R. Schlesinger is an attorney with over ten years of trial and appellate experience.

For almost a decade Brad worked as a public defense attorney, first in West Palm Beach, Florida, and then in Seattle, Washington. As a trial, appellate, and post-conviction civil commitment attorney, Brad defended the rights of tens of thousands of indigent adults and juveniles at all stages of their cases. During his time as a public defense attorney he tried over 50 jury trials to verdict and briefed over 45 cases on appeal on every conceivable charge from misdemeanor theft to first-degree murder. Brad currently works in civil litigation and is licensed to practice law in Washington State and in the Supreme Court of the United States.

Brad received his Juris Doctor degree from the St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump School of Law, where he served as a staff editor on the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review and the Florida Public Interest Journal.
