Biography

Justin is a partner at Gleam Law, a cannabis law firm which opened the first recreational marijuana store in Washington State. At Gleam Law, Justin heads the litigation department, as well as the hemp and CBD department. Justin regularly speaks across the United State on issues related to Cannabis compliance and hemp and CBD issues.

Justin is a lifelong Washingtonian, born and raised in Renton. During his career in information technology, he earned a degree in business management. A graduate of Seattle University School of Law, Justin served as the Recent Developments and Technology Editor on the Seattle Journal for Social Justice. He also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Justice Mary Fairhurst (Ret.) on the Washington State Supreme Court. He has worked since graduation as a litigator, including in Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation and commercial general litigation defense.

Justin is the past chair of the King County Civil Rights Commission. He currently sits on the King County Bar Association's Public Policy Committee.

In addition to his legal work and teaching, Justin also sits as a Judge Pro Tem on the King County District Court.

In his free time, Justin enjoys playing music, screenwriting, and spending time with his partner and their two children.
