Jeff Minneti joined the SU faculty in June 2015. He previously taught at Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he directed the school's academic success program and taught students courses in Trusts and Estates, Remedies, and Survey of Florida Law. Prior to his work at Stetson, Professor Minneti practiced with the Tampa law firm, Murray, Morin, and Herman; his practice focused on defending the interests of London market insurers in the aviation industry.

Isabel Freitas Peres faculty profile
Isabel Freitas Peres is the Director of Bar Success and Adjunct Professor of Law at Seattle University School of Law. She teaches the Bar Strategies and Skills course for third year law students. Isabel is a licensed attorney in both the State of New York and the State of Washington, and uses her experience from preparing for Bar exams to design a class that focuses on an intensive and substantive review of Bar tested materials coupled with strategies and exercises to improve students' test-taking skills.

Imran is an alumnus of the School of Law, class of 2013. His interest in academic coaching began as a 3L student when he participated in the Law School’s Bar Exam Strategies and Skills class. There, he learned invaluable test-taking and study strategies that would empower him to pass the bar exam in California and Washington. Prior to joining the Academic Excellence and Bar Success team, Imran spent three years working as an Academic Director at law schools in San Diego. With experience working with students from all backgrounds, Imran believes any student can succeed in law school and the bar exam with the proper preparation and mindset.

Dominic is a 2019 graduate of the School of Law. He began his legal career practicing as an associate attorney at the Seattle firm Carney, Badley, & Spellman and then worked at the Tacoma firm McGavick Graves. Dominic’s litigation practice focused primarily on employment law, real estate, and creditor’s rights. He also assisted in labor negotiations between public employers and their associated unions.
Dominic returned to Seattle U to pursue a calling in higher education — he is eager to help the next generation of law students reach their goal of becoming licensed attorneys. As an Academic Excellence and Bar Success Assistant Director, Dominic assists students in successfully navigating the academic challenges encountered throughout law school while also providing insight into what life will look like as a practicing attorney following graduation.
