What if my employer pays me a salary, rather than an hourly wage?

What if I am an agricultural worker? You are entitled to overtime.

  • In 2022, you are entitled to overtime after 55 hours in a workweek.
  • In 2023, you are entitled to overtime after 48 hours in a workweek.
  • In 2024, you are entitled to overtime after 40 hours in a workweek.

What if I am paid on a piece rate or by commission? You are still entitled to overtime.
