LawYours: Diversifying the Legal Profession

LawYours is a free event dedicated to helping Puget Sound-area high school students explore the field of law. The legal profession suffers from longstanding underrepresentation that includes and extends far beyond racial diversity. To help address these gaps, we invite high school students to learn about opportunities in the law. We are particularly interested in hosting those of you who have a background or experience that enables you to bring unique perspectives to the study of law and the legal profession, or that enables you to serve diverse populations.

For 2024, along with the University of Washington and local judges and lawyers, we have partnered with Just the Beginning to offer a free 3-day summer program for high school students. To apply, check the Seattle box at the Just the Beginning website.
