Each year, over one hundred second and third-year law students enroll in Clinic courses in which they represent real clients with real problems. With hard work, creativity, and close faculty supervision, Clinic students help their clients solve those problems. As they provide this valuable service, students learn the skills and values that are essential for the practice of law (e.g., fact development, strategic case planning, ethical sensitivity, advocacy, negotiation, mediation, drafting personal and business planning documents). Students also learn unforgettable lessons about what it takes to make justice a reality in the lives of those who cannot afford to pay for legal services. Under the supervision of full-time faculty members and adjunct professors as well, the Law Clinic offers courses in a range of subjects.
