Archive Project Initiated: Seattle University School of Law will soon be celebrating its 35th Anniversary. In anticipation of this milestone, Seattle University Law Library is compiling an archive of documents and other artifacts that reflect the history of the Law School. To institute the archive, we are seeking donations of historical material from individuals connected to the Law School. The kinds of material should document the Law School’s organizational structure, significant policies, actions and decisions, and/or document important people or events. Bob Menanteaux, who joined the Law School in 1978, will be leading this project. If you are considering donating material, Bob can be reached at: (206) 398-4160 or arobertm@seattleu.edu...(Archive Project)
Casual Reading Collections: As part of Seattle University’s mission to educate the whole person, the Law Library features three unique, reading collections: The Recreational Reading Collection contains a rotating inventory of current fiction and nonfiction titles. The Read Book Collection includes works of significance selected by our Read Poster celebrities during National Library Week. The Walkover Collection, named after popular law school professor and associate dean Andrew Walkover, who died in 1988, consists of books that he would have recommended. These collections are located near the seating area by the 2nd floor stairwell. We hope you will take a break and enjoy a good read.
